R.Design has the following basic functions:

• Change the shape/form of the model
• You can also change the material of each part of your model (e.g. wood/metal) as many times as you want
• You can simulate fabric changes on the upholstery part as well

R.Design was developed on the belief that it’s important to correctly reflect each and every single texture in a 3D model. Even something as detailed as the size of the fabric pattern can be simulated to a high level of realism.

Even the fabrics that the brand itself has never actually stretched can be used to accurately represent the finished product.

This basically means that you can apply multiple materials on the same model. For example, if a Wing Chair 3D has a different material on its back than the one on its seat, then you can certainly represent that in R.Design.

However, it is quite necessary to set up multiple groups/elements/components in the pre-existing 3D model to accomplish that.

A custom product is a record of single or multiple products to which any material can be applied.

R.Design allows you to take a screenshot of your custom product and save it so that you can use it from “My Catalog” at any time.

If you’re a brand representative, you even have the option of publishing it to your general catalog.

The R.Design app works with the product database that supports 3D models.

This system usually dictates that every furniture product have 2 price systems: the main unit and the option price.

• Main Unit Price: Price setting for each type / size and material
• Option Price: Price setting for each fabric collection

In the case of fabric, the area consumed differs depending on whether the object to be stretched is a 3-seater sofa or an ottoman, so it is often priced as an option, but it can also be set as the main unit price.
